Fiona Willer | Dietitian APD
Fiona Willer is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and academic. In 2013 she authored ‘The Non-Diet Approach Guidebook for Dietitians’, and in 2014 co-authored (with Clinical Psychologist Louise Adams) ‘The Non-Diet Approach Guidebook for Psychologists and Counsellors’. Both of these books are how-to guides to applying the non-diet approach in individual counselling. Fiona is active in the Australian HAES community, conducting workshops for dietitians, psychologists and health workers across the country. Also a lecturer in Human Nutrition at Central Queensland University, Fiona is currently conducting original PhD research into the adoption of the HAES philosophy by dietetic professionals. As an advocacy leader in this field, she recently represented Australia in contributing to the international HAES graduate curriculum for the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH). Fiona is the current President of the Association for Non-Diet Approach Research Inc, the non-profit organisation supporting HAES Australia.

Carolynne White | Occupational Therapist, Lecturer
Carolynne is an occupational therapist and lecturer in Health Promotion with the School of Health Sciences at Swinburne University. Carolynne has over 15 years experience working with people with physical and mental health conditions and enabling them to participate in the activities and occupations that are important to them. Carolynne recently completed her PhD thesis, which aimed to understand the relationships between the activities and occupations, and health and well-being, of adults living with ongoing physical and mental health conditions. Carolynne is a proud member of OT Australia and ASDAH.
